SPACT Researchers have been awarded a 5 year $3M award from the National Science Foundation as part of the National Research Traineeship (NRT) program. The NRT program is NSF’s flagship graduate student training program. The SPACT NRT program is entitled Cyber-Physical-Social System for Understanding and Thwarting the Illicit Economy. The NRT program is a collaborative award involving faculty from Dakota State University, South Dakota State University, the University of South Dakota and the South Dakota School of Mines and Technology.
